Odiya community in US celebrates Utkal Diwas in New York

Hundreds of people hailing from Odisha gathered at the Indian Consulate in New York, April 5, 2024, to celebrate Utkal Diwas. The Odisha Society of North America partnered with the Indian Consulate to organize the event.

The Indian Consulate noted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that it was honored by the presence of the Chief Guest at the event, Swami Sarvapriyananda from Vedanta New York.

The Consulate also thanked Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik, and India’s Minister of Education and Skill Development Dharmendra Pradhan for their messages.
