Indian government holding virtual meeting Dec. 6, with Madhya Pradesh CM for US residents

The Indian Embassy, and Indian consulates around the U.S., including in New York and Chicago, are urging Indians abroad and businesses interested in India, to tune in to a virtual meeting with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan December 6, 2022, to draw attention to the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas which will be held in January.

The Madhya Pradesh government will be hosting the ‘Global Investors Summit 2023’ (GIS) on 11th and 12th January 2023 at Indore in addition to the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas from January 8 to 10, 2023. To register for the PBD event, visit pbdindia.gov.in.

Describing Madhya Pradesh as the ‘Heart of India’, and a globally emerging investment destination with an “impressive growth in GSDP averaging over 10% during the last decade, the announcement urges Indian-Americans and others to listen in at at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

“The objective of this virtual session is to connect with the business community and Indian diaspora in North America. The virtual summit will be a great platform to discuss the potential investment opportunities offered by Madhya Pradesh,” the announcement said.

The interested participants may register for this virtual summit registering pbdindia.gov.in, and a video conference joining link will be emailed by Government of Madhya Pradesh to the registered participants.
