Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago holds Summer Picnic

Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago held their Summer Picnic Sunday June 25, 2023 from 9 am to 7 pm at St. James Farm Warrenville, Illinois.

About 950 members attended, according to Jayanti Oza, one of the attendees, who provided the details of the event.

Starting with a hot breakfast with many choices like bhajiya, methi gota, tea, coffee, and a number of sweets, the members enjoyed music.

Attendees enjoyed playing several games including Antakshari, and some competitive sports. Games included musical chairs, lemon-in-spoon race, and Bingo. Prizes were awarded to the first, second and third place winners in all the games by BSC President Hari Patel, BSC Managing Trustee Parasotam Pandya.

Several members were involved in organizing different aspects of the picnic. BSC President Hari Patel thanked all the volunteers who helped in the planning and management of the picnic and introduced all the committee members to those present.
