Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago enjoy New Year’s Eve celebration

More than 500 members of Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago met at the Rana Regan Center in Carol Stream, Illinois, near Chicago December 31st, 2022, to celebrate the coming of 2023. Dancing and live music were the highlight of the event, a press release from the organization said.

A Cocktail Hour was held from 6pm to 8pm.

Bollywood singer Kosha Pandya, along with Dibayraj Bose, Shivani Shah Music Group from India provided entertainment. They sang new and old songs of Bollywood movies from the 1960s, ’70s, till recent times, for four hours till 12 midnight.

Samba and Belly dancers from California got the audience on its feet.

As the clock struck 12, everyone wished each other a happy and prosperous New Year.

President Hari Patel expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the committee members, dignitaries, friends and volunteers for their support in organizing and holding the event.

He also announced the donation that BSC had made to the hospital of Savar Kundla in Gujarat, thanking donors for their generosity.
