He was a simple, quiet, and principled man! He never spoke ill about anyone or treated others with anything but respect.  Knowing Shivaprakash “Shamu”, was to know a one of kind decent human being with a large heart!

He was an engineer by education. Professionally, he dedicated more than 40 years to television broadcasting alongside his brother Dr. B. N. Viswanath  and sister in law, Sathya Viswanath.

From the very inception of Vision of Asia, he was a news and media man. His favorite trip of the year was to the National Broadcasters Association annual conference in Las Vegas, where they would showcase Broadcast Television’s latest equipment and technology.

He was a wonderful man with a genuine smile and he will be missed by all! We pray that the Almighty bless his everlasting soul!
