Seniors in Clifton, NJ hold education and spirituality seminar

After a successful seminar on Financial Planning two weeks ago, Indo- American Seniors Association of Clifton and Param Care Foundation jointly presented, “Vedas in Daily Life “ by Swami Sri Sharvanandaji Friday March 22, 2024 evening.

Swami Sharvanandaji of Adi Shankara Brahma Vidya Peeth Ashram – Uttarkashi, and Vipul Amin, C.E.O.and the Owner of the Param Care Foundation began the program with a prayer followed by introduction of Swamiji.

The Association’s President, Bharat Rana invited Assemblywoman Rosy Bagolie and Mayor of the City of Clifton Ray Grabowski, to offer a bouquet to Swamiji.

A degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, Swamiji has expert knowledge over vast Vedantic literature as well as fluency in Sanskrit, Hindi, English, and Bengali. He talked about Karmayoga, Upanishad and Vedantic philosophy’s impact on daily life, in a one and a half hour discourse.

Community leaders from various organizations as well as past president of FIA and DD’s CEO Anand Patel were also present at the event.
President Bharat Rana thanked members and office-holders for their efforts including Committee members, Secretary Yogeshbhai Trivedi, V.P. Jayesh Gandhi, Executive Committee members, Arun Bhatia, Randhir Naik, Mahesh Patel, Alka Rana, Varsha Trivedi, Nanda Bhatia, Suverna Shah, Hema Trivedi and many more volunteers.

A vegetarian dinner was served.
