Record attendance at Business NJ’s 15th Annual Diwali Fair in Princeton, NJ

The 15th Annual Diwali Fair, organized by Business NJ proved to be a great success with record attendance as thousands   flocked to Princeton, NJ, on Sunday, November 5, 2023, to celebrate the Festival of Lights.

Organizers showcased the India’s cultural heritage and the significance of the Diwali festival to the diverse crowd of individuals, families, and friends, who were exposed to a vibrant atmosphere with colorful decorations, traditional music, dance performances, and an array of cultural exhibits.

Assemblyman and prospective candidate for Mercer County Executive Dan Benson was the Guest of Honor, a press release from Business NJ said. He spoke very high of Diwali and   wished ‘Shubh Diwali’ to all. He also praised Rajesh and Arun Anand for hosting this festival and many others for over 20 years and for spreading love and diversity in the community.  Later, Bensen also presented many plaques to sponsors and community leaders which recognized their contribution.

The highlight of the event “mouthwatering and diverse array of Indian cuisine,” organizers said, everything from spicy curries to sweet desserts. Local restaurants and vendors, were able to display their culinary expertise. More than 90 vendors showcasing various art, artifacts and rich culture from India, had stalls at the Fair.

Informative exhibits on the cultural and religious significance of Diwali, combined with engaging presentations, educated those visiting to the Festival of Lights.

Business NJ thanked sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who made the event successful.
