Kamala Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust Shines at Elite 50’s Most Influential Indians Awards at Statue of Liberty NYC

The Kamala Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust, under the leadership of Nidarshana Gowani and Ramesh Gowani, recently held the Elite 50’s Most Influential Indians Awards at the iconic Statue of Liberty in New York City. The Gowani Trust works on projects related to welfare of children, empowerment of women and uplifting underprivileged people.

Among those named as influential individuals on a global scale in their areas of endeavor, were several from New York, including Dean of New York University Stern School of Business, Raghu Sundaram; NYC-based chef Vikas Khanna; Commissioner of NYC Dilip Chauhan, as well as, spiritual leader Gaur Gopal Das; entrepreneur Ashneer Grover; angel investor Vishesh Khurana; Shivika Goenka of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group; actor Jacqueline Fernandez; businesswoman Kanika Tekriwal from the airline industry; singer Rashmeet Kaur; and TV personality Seema Taparia.

The event was a collaboration between the Trustees and Puraskar Thadani, the owner of Elite magazine India. Ramesh Gowani presented the awards.

The Gowani Trust said in a press release that the event at the Statue of Liberty marked a significant milestone for the Trust, serving as a powerful testament to its unwavering commitment to recognizing and honoring excellence.

It went on to add that the collaboration with Elite magazine India and the presentation of awards by Ramesh Gowani underscored the Trust’s “dedication to fostering an environment that champions achievement and acknowledges the impact of individuals who have shaped their industries through their tireless efforts and innovative contributions.”
