The Eliezer Ministry of Matrimony, based in Chicago, held its 5th Meet & Greet Program on June 20, 2020, in an online Zoom session  for the benefit of unmarried Telugu Christian men and women living in the United States.

Around 85 participants both male and female (prospective grooms, brides and a couple of parents) joined the session under the leadership of Brother Prabhudas Bhooshi, founder of the Eliezer Ministry of Matrimony, a press release from the organization said.

“It was a good turnout for this innovatively held Meet & Greet Zoom Event with no cost to anybody from the comfort of their homes given the COVID-19 situation,” organizers said.

An introductory message regarding the importance of marriage and how to choose a spouse was followed with a prayer by Rev. John Bushi from Chicago.  Among those who helped make it a success were Dr. M. Sai Ankem from Chicago and Dr. Santha Jetty from Atlanta.

All participants exchanged their information such as email ID and cell number in the private chat box.  The participants introduced themselves with a brief bio and expressed their partner expectations in the main session.

Prospective brides and grooms were also given a chance to use separate break-up sessions to chat privately and exchange information.

“We are expecting few match settings to take place through this meeting. We are also hoping that many more of such sessions will be held in future to bless the Telugu community in the US,” organizers said.

Following a high demand, founder and organizer, Bro. Bhooshi agreed to conduct the next Online Meet and Greet on August 15, 2020 at 6:00 PM CST. Enthusiastic future
