As the countdown to the release of Siddharth Anand’s Fighter intensifies, here’s a behind-the-scenes revelation that will elevate the film’s anticipation even further. It is now revealed that the air-bases featured in the film are not any visual production design feast but are real locations!

The recently unveiled action-packed trailer of Fighter has set the stage for this aerial action drama, scheduled to release on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day on January 25. Packed with unprecedented aerial action sequences and the chemistry of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, the trailer shows that the  makers have left no stone unturned in signaling a cinematic extravaganza.

What adds an extra layer to the visual spectacle is the fact that the team shot the film at real locations, with the help of IAF personnel, using combat jets and helicopters.

The thrilling operational scenes have been filmed at the Air Force Station in Tezpur, the Air Force Academy in Dindigul in Andhra Pradesh, and at the Air-Force Station in Pune. Shot extensively at Tezpur, nestled in the lush green valley of Assam, the area serves as the backdrop for some of the film’s most intense fighter jet sequences.

Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, Fighter “epitomizes cinematic brilliance, blending heart-thumping action and patriotic fervor”, as per their media release.

Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone feature in the film that has music by Vishal and Sheykhar.
