Acharya Lokeshji returns to his birthplace, Rajasthan, after historic visit in North America

Jain Acharya Lokeshji, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Center, returned to his birthplace, Rajasthan Sunday September 3, 2023, for the first time after spreading his religious and spiritual teachings around the world.

Welcomed by various organizations on his arrival and Jodhpur airport, the Jain spiritual leader is fresh from leading India at the Chicago Parliament of World Religions and addressing the inaugural ceremony, repeating the history of Swami Vivekananda in 1893, noted a press release from Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti.

He also participated in the International Yoga Day June 21, 2023, along with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the United Nations and also took part in the welcome ceremony at the White House on the invitation of President Joe Biden.

During his 70-days visit to USA & Canada, he was honored by legislatures of US and Canada; attended the Jaina Convention, in Florida, and met various Jain, non-Jain religious socio-cultural centers in both those countries.
