Zee TV premiered a first-of-its-kind, devotional singing reality show, Swarna Swar Bharat. A humble contribution to the Prime Minister’s noble initiative of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence, the show endeavors to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage. Viewers have been enjoying the show, which takes them back to their roots through a unique blend of insightful and relatable stories narrated through some wonderful verses and soulful devotional music.

The channel has left no stone unturned to entertain its viewers through awe-inspiring spiritual performances. The show has also managed to pull in the most prominent spiritual leaders and celebrities to grace it and encourage contestants to give their best. And one of the most eminent actors on TV, Arun Govil, popular for his portrayal of Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, made an appearance too.

During the shoot, the veteran actor witnessed some of the most devotional and heartwarming acts put up by the talented participants. However, it was Sarvshreshtha Mishra’s soulful rendition of the song Sumati Sita Ram that left him so awestruck that he blessed him and could not stop appreciating his voice and the show.

As he told Sarvshreshtha, “I really appreciate the kind of devotion that you have in your voice towards God. You sang very beautifully, and everything was flawlessly in tune. The song was so musical and soothing to the ear that my inner soul was only chanting Bolo Ram Sita Ram.”

Talking about the show, he also added, “I feel that the middle-aged generation has unknowingly moved away from our culture and that has influenced our youth. Swarna Swar Bharat is a wonderful initiative. I feel the concept of the show is very much required for our nation today. I truly believe that the show will open India’s vision and bring divine resolution to people’s lives. I am delighted that we are all obtaining knowledge of our Indian traditions and cultural values through the storytelling and devotional music on this platform.”
