Akshay Kumar revealed his latest film, Sky Force, on the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and the former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri’s birth anniversary on October 2. The film will release on the same date next year. Akshay has piqued the curiosity of his fans by revealing the teaser of his upcoming patriotic saga. The film, set against the backdrop of the 1965 India-Pakistan War, promises an adrenaline-fueled journey into the untold story of India’s first and deadliest air strike against Pakistan.

In the teaser posted on Instagram, Akshay Kumar shared glimpses of the historical drama. The video begins with a voiceover echoing the threats India faced ahead of the 1965 war, setting the stage for a narrative that captures the essence of courage and resilience. The clip includes a poignant moment featuring former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri responding to the ominous warnings.

The film also introduces Veer Pahariya. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force is more than a mere cinematic spectacle. It will be a tribute to the indomitable spirit of the nation during a crucial period in its history, delving deep into the courage, emotions and patriotism of the valiant men in uniform. The film is produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Amar Kaushik.
