Ved, which is set to release on December 30, will bring Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh opposite each other and will give the fans of the happy couple an opportunity to see them together after Tujhe Meri Kasam, their joint successful debut in 2003, Masti and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. They recently also co-starred in Mister Mummy.

The teaser shows Riteish with a somber look on his face, walking on the streets of Mumbai. It ends with a clip of Genelia, stepping out of the rickshaw with an umbrella, shielding Riteish as it rains.

Riteish captioned his post in an emotional manner as “Madness from my heart to yours – presenting ‘VED’ – my first directorial Marathi film.”

Ajay-Atul score music for the film and Salman Khan makes a special appearance.
