After the success of its previous season, Zee TV’s singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, has returned, featuring singer-composers Anu Malik and Himesh Reshammiya and singer Neeti Mohan as judges and singer-actor Aditya Narayan as host. While the show started off on a melodious note with contestants from across the country auditioning to get a position in the top 12 of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, a few captivated the judges with their distinct voices and passion for singing. For the first time ever, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will give a chance via Zee Music Company to selected contestants to release their singles even before the season ends.

28 years ago, Anu Malik had also given a young Aditya Narayan his break in Hindi cinema, Aditya expressed his heartfelt gratitude for being able to share the stage with Anu Malik. He said, “My first significant breakthrough in the music industry was with the title-track of Akele Hum Akele Tum in 1995. I had collaborated with my father (Udit Narayan) for the song, which helped me kick-start my musical career. I credit a significant part of my success to Anu-sir’s mentorship and guidance, and I must say that the young talents her could also learn a lot from him and Himesh-sir on this show.”

Aditya added, “Anu-sir stands among the living legends of the Indian music industry, and I feel honored that we have collaborated on numerous occasions before this show. He is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional composers and I cannot express my admiration for him in words.”
