Regina Cassandra, who made a stellar Hindi debut with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (2019) starring Sonam Kapoor, is pinning all hopes on her next movie, Saakini Daakini, releasing on September 16. As interesting as its title, the teaser of the thriller comedy has been hugely appreciated for its unique narrative of two female trainee cops, played by Regina and her co-actor Nivetha Thomas.

Interestingly, Regina has performed all action stunts by herself in the film. Also, walking the extra mile, the gorgeous actress also learnt the Japanese Martial Art form, Jiu-jitsu, which helped her do body movements swiftly on screen.

Talking about this, Regina says, “With regards to the stunts that are concerned, I learnt some basic Jiu-jitsu in terms of certain movements, hand locks and handholding techniques. We performed the stunts ourselves. Venkat master was the stunt choreographer and he was very helpful, and I loved the way my kicks and other action scenes have turned out on screen. I am glad that I got to do all the stunts by myself.”

In Hindi, she made her first real mark with the Sony LIV epic series Rocket Boys and the recent Shoorveer.
