The makers of the movie Raksha Bandhan, starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, are set to release the next song, Done kar do, at Cineworld Feltham, making it the first Indian film ever to have a song launch in the UK. Director Aanand L. Rai, along with lead actors Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar, will be present to share this moment.

Ever since the launch of the movie’s first look, fans have been waiting eagerly to see what more the moviemakers have in store. And with the first song Tere saath hoon main tugging at fans’ heartstrings, Done kar do is the perfect party song of the season.

Speaking about the song, the director said, “The song pulls the movie towards a lighter note. It brings forth the themes of the movie while still keeping the innocence and joviality intact. The movie itself manoeuvres through notes of love, comfort, dismay etc., and Done kar do fits in just beautifully. ”

Akshay Kumar added, “This is one of those songs you’ll find yourself humming all the time. It’s so catchy it is hard to forget.”

The film also features Neeraj Sood, Seema Pahwa, Abhilash Thapliyal and Sadia Khateeb, Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth and Sahejmeen Kaur as Akshay’s four sisters. Written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon, the film is co-produced by Aanand L. Rai, Alka Hiranandani and ZEE Studios. Presented by Colour Yellow, Zee Studios and Cape of Good Films, the film releases on August 11, and has music by Himesh Reshammiya and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
