Public Service Announcement: GOPIO International hosting series of meetings through March and April

The Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) International, which has 100 chapters worldwide including seven chapters in the New York area, announced a series of events over the months of March and April including a conference for small businesses and professional practitioners at the Parikh Worldwide Media/ITV Gold auditorium March 22, 2024.

The GOPIO Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) (previously Global International Chamber of Commerce-GICC) established by GOPIO in Mumbai a few years ago, is now relaunching in New Jersey at the GOPIO Convention on April 26-28, 2024, which organizers expect will be attended by participants from around the world.

A major objective of GCCI is to network 5 million plus small businesses and professional practitioners worldwide. Before the convention in New Jersey, the organization is initiating GCCI chapters in the greater New York area, inviting participation in GCCI-Central Jersey to the March 22, 2024, meeting at the Parikh Worldwide Media/ITV Gold auditorium in New Jersey.  The meeting will also provide information on the convention.

The meeting details are as follows:

Date and Time: Friday, March 22nd, starting at 6.00 p.m. with networking over refreshments followed by meeting.

Venue:  Parikh Worldwide Media, ITV Auditorium 1655 Oak Tree Road, Edison, New Jersey.

GOPIO CONVENTION

GOPIO is holding its International Convention April 26-28, at Royal Albert’s Palace, Fords, New Jersey. This convention will focus on India’s Present and the Future and what role the Diaspora Indians can play in helping to realize its future.

Convention Theme: ‘Opportunities for Diaspora Indians in India’s Big Manifest Future.’

Six conference sessions on April 27th

  1. Diaspora Youth and Young Achievers and the role they can play in India’s Future and how GOPIO can facilitate their participation?
  2. Diaspora Women and their Growing Contributions in Various Sectors. How GOPIO can further facilitate their Role and Participation?
  3. Technologies and AI and other Innovations. How Diaspora Indians are Leading Research and Innovations?
  4. GOPIO Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Worldwide Networking of the Diaspora Businesses and SMEs in India.
  5. Medical and Health Issues and how Diaspora Indians can Participate in India’s Frontline Role in Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines and Medical Tourism and in Propagating YOGA and its Benefits.
  6. Emergence of India as an alternate market hub of supply chain logistics and how US businesses can take advantage by partnering with India.

Apart from sessions and seminars, the Convention will include a visit to Akshardham Temple in Robbinsville, N, and Atlantic City, Capitol Hill and other landmarks in Washington, D.C..

Registration

Full Registration Package is $250 up to March 31st (which includes tickets to all conferences and six meals from April 26th evening Welcome Dinner to April 28th Lunch). Register for the full convention package till March 31st for $250 and save $50 since the registration fee will go up to $300 from April 1st)

Community Service Award Nomination

GOPIO is seeking nominations for Community Service Awards (CSA). Awardees who will be honored at the Finale Awards Banquet on April 27th.
