Pradeep B Shukla appointed Chairman of the Global Alliances Advisory Board, National Association of Realtors

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) recently announced the appointment of Pradeep B. Shukla as the Chairman of its Global Alliances Advisory Board. Shukla becomes the first Asian from Illinois to hold this position, a press release said.

The National Association of REALTORS® was founded as the National Association of Real Estate Exchanges on May 12, 1908 in Chicago. Today, it has more than 1.5 million members.

Shukla is the past President of the Main Street Organization of Realtors, one of the U.S.’s most influential and robust local associations.  He serves as a Chairperson of the Commercial committee with Main Street Association of Realtors.

For over a decade, he has been a member of local and state audit and finance committees, overseeing transparency and efficiency in operations.

He is also one of the pioneering promoters of the Association of South Asian Real Estate Professionals in Chicago, which he sees as a platform that not only educates but elevates the professional ethics of the community, placing special emphasis on the South Asian diaspora, a press release from Shukla said.

Possessing a CPA background, Shukla has served on numerous advisory boards of local non-profits such as the Federation of Indian Associations, the Indian Forum of Chartered Accountants, and Nalanda Educational and Charitable Trust
