Kaka’s romantic track ‘Ik kahani’ out on Saregama

After giving hit songs to the Punjabi industry like Keh len de, Libaas, Temporary pyar and many more, popular singer Kaka, known for his unique style, plans to make the start of the year special with his new single Ik kahani. It is a romantic love track released Jan. 15 and already winning hearts.

Ik kahani explores a tale of recuperating and rejuvenating after a tough heartbreak. This heartbreak video ends with unlearning and renewing oneself after a breakup. The song is shot at some of the most exquisite locations of Punjab and some sets have been built specially to give the feel of a big Hindi film.

Written, sung and composed by Kaka, directed by Satnam and with Arijit and Roop Ghumanthe as music producers, the song portrays a heart-wrenching love story of a couple parting ways, tear-struck and somber. The video features Helly Shah, who has worked in some famous television shows like Swaragini, Devanshi, Sufiyana Pyar Mera, Ishq Mein Marjawan and others.

Talking about the song, Kaka said, “Ik kakani is very different and unique track and is very close to my heart. It’s not a song, it’s a very short story. When I started writing songs, this was the first one which deserved to be listened and I strongly believe that the song will directly touch the viewers. I hope my audience will love my work as my previous works has been loved.”

Shah said, “I was very excited when I got this different opportunity to feature in a Punjabi music video with Kaka. I love the story-line of the song and the way it depicts the tale of love and heartbreak between two individuals and I hope the audience appreciates me in this different avatar. “
