Indian Consulate in Chicago hosts Hindi Day celebrations

A celebration for Hindi Divas was hosted by the Consulate General of India in Chicago, jointly with the Hindi Coordination Committee, September 22, 2023 at the Consulate.

Distinguished persons and institutions, Hindi language enthusiasts, promoters of Hindi language in Chicago and nearby areas, were present during this interactive, literary event followed by a short cultural program.

The cultural program included a short Drama “Balidan” by students of “Dramatech of America.”

There was also a poetry segment in which both kids and adults participated.

A panel discussion on the “Progress and Prospects of Hindi,” was held during the event.

As a token of appreciation, the Deputy Consul General of India T.D. Bhutia, presented books to the kids who participated in the cultural activity.
