The second song from Srikanth—Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne (this must be the longest tag-line or suffix ever!), Papa kehte hai 2.0 was launched in a unique way in Mumbai. The song was performed live by a visually-impaired band to a standing ovation, in the presence of the OG star of the song, Aamir Khan, along with the cast of the forthcoming film, Rajkummar Rao, Jyothika, Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar, director Tushar Hiranandani, original singer Udit Narayan and producer Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani.

Aamir Khan, Rajkummar Rao and Udit Narayan joined the live chorus as well, creating a truly heartwarming moment. This live performance was lauded and cheered by the crowd and left everyone impressed.

The band also performed another iconic song of Aamir from the same film, Ae mere humsafar, originally sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik.

Papa kehte hai 2.0 is sung by Udit Narayan, and the music has been recreated by Aditya Dev. The original music is by Anand-Milind. The lyrics of the song are written by Majrooh Sultanpuri.

The film’s story is of the real Srikanth Bolla, an Indian entrepreneur and the founder of Bollant Industries. In a world with odds stacked against him at every step, Srikanth (Rajkummar Rao) defies norms, blazing a trail from rural India to becoming the first visually-impaired student in an extraordinary narrative of perseverance and achievement. This included filing a court case to study Science as a subject, despite scoring 98 percent, to getting selected as the first international visually-impaired student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after being denied entry into the Indian Institute of Technology.

As he builds Bollant Industries, his success brings challenges for which he would not only chase personal dreams but safeguard a shared future for the ones just like him. This is the tale of an entrepreneur`s triumph and sacrifice, both which he welcomed with open arms and a smile.
