BJP National Secretary attends Sikh community meeting in Gujarat

Bharatiya Janata Party’s Other Language Cell organized a Sikh Samaj Sangat at Metropole Hotel, Ahmedabad, recently, where a large number of Punjabi-origin and Gujarat-based Punjabis gathered.

The Sangat was attended by top BJP leaders including National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa as well as former Chief Minister of Gujarat and in-charge of Punjab Vijay Rupani, Jasmine Singh Nauni of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Ahmedabad City Mayor Pratibha Jain, State Convener Atul Mishra, BJP Gujarat Region Narendra Singh Purohit of the Election Management Committee, Paramjit Kaur Chhabda. Also present were councilors of the local board and office bearers of the organization and a large number of people from the Sikh community.

During the convention, Rupani and Sirsa appealed to those present to vote for BJP, alluding to the developmental works done by Prime Minister Modi for the Sikh community.

On this occasion, Chhabda, Gujarat State Election Management Committee Member and President of Sikh Foundation, delivered a welcome speech and mentioned the special relationship between the Sikh community and Prime Minister Modi and their sentiments. Rajendra Singh Jadavar thanked everyone for making the event successful.
