Bipasha Basu’s baby shower had pink and lavender themes and a monkey-themed cake

Bipasha Basu’s baby shower was a sweet, tight-knit affair with her dearest ones. It was hosted for her intimate friends and family at Eight, the fine-dining restaurant, on September 23 in Mumbai.

The celebration saw Neelam Kothari, Shamita Shetty, Ramesh Taurani, Anusha Dandekar, Deanne Pandey, Mamta Anand, Esha Amin, Sophie Choudhry, Rajiv Adatia, Arti Singh, Rocky Star and others in attendance along with her publicist and close friend Rohini Iyer.

The event saw all the guests in pink and lavender colors, highlighting the theme for the evening, apart from her husband Karan Singh Grover and her favorite little animal—a monkey-themed cake underscoring this.

Bipasha, who wore a pink gown for the occasion, was in high spirits, dancing and sharing a kiss with husband, film, TV and web series actor Karan Singh Grover. “A little monkey… is on the way” Bipasha wrote in her Instagram post. In an Instagram video clip, Bipasha also posed with her mother, Mamta Basu.

Before making her acting debut in 2001, Bipasha had won the Godrej Cinthol Supermodel Contest and represented India at the Ford Models Supermodel of the World contest in Miami.
