The Supporting Excellence in Education Foundation (SEED), a leading national non-profit organization providing innovative scholarship opportunities for Indian high school students, is excited to share that we have awarded $30,000 in scholarships to three high school students from the class of 2023. Student winners were selected based upon their academic achievement, financial need, and other eligibility requirements. Our three 2023 SEED Foundation Scholarship recipients are: Sitara Kumar of Portland, OR, attending Duke University; Arul Banerjea of Woodbury, MN, attending UC-Berkeley; and Mihir Bhatia of Cypress, TX, attending UT-Austin. We are proud to support our awardees as they embark on their next education journey and look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the years ahead.

The SEED Foundation’s SEED Scholar Program is proud to support Indian youth with scholarships for higher education. The SEED Scholar Program has now developed into one of the largest scholarship programs run by Indians for Indian youth. To date, SEED has awarded $483,000 to 64 young men and women.

We invite graduating high school seniors (Class of 2024) to apply for our 2024 SEED Foundation Scholarship. Students must be of Asian-Indian heritage with at least one parent of Indian ancestry; have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in a U.S. university in the Fall of 2024; and be a legal resident of the United States.
