American Premiere Cricket League hosts Sir Isaac Alexander Vivian Richards in Chicago

American Premiere Cricket League and American Premier Events hosted the legendary cricketer, Sir Isaac Alexander Vivian Richards, in Chicago for a three day event. The three days involved a meet and greet with cricket fans, a mentoring session with the APCL Cricket Academy Kids, golf event and a meet and greet session with the finalist teams who will be competing for the Championship Trophy on 8/27.

The emcees for the event were Dr. Nilesh Mehta and Prachi Jaitly. Videos of Richards cricket journey and APCL’s mission and vision were played  during the meet greet followed by a question and answer session. Fans also got the opportunity to take pictures with their favorite Wisden player of the century Sir Vivian Richards who also signed cricket bats for the guests.

Richards represented the West Indies cricket team between 1974 and 1991 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. He extended his best wishes to both the teams and to the entire APCL team led by Subbu Iyer along with League Manager Naresh Chauhan, Shalender Singh, APCL Academy Coordinator Lakhinder Sharma and Media Head Phani Krishna. APCL founder, Subbu Iyer thanked all the sponsors and the entire APCL team for making the event a success.

The first season of APCL Championship will conclude on august 27th when the teams Raging Tigers and Sher Chicago will compete for the trophy. APCL will soon be revealing the details about the League’s next season to be played in 2024.
