Probably with a view to appease or calm down those who are objecting to the bold but socially-relevant content of OMG2, Akshay Kumar hosted a special preview of the film for the spiritual leader, Sadhguru. The latter shared a video of the actor’s visit. This was done at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.

After watching the film, Sadhguru shared his thoughts on Twitter and expressed gratitude to Akshay for the opportunity. Akshay thanked Sadhguru for his valuable feedback to the team. They even shared a video of their time together, showcasing not just the film viewing but also a friendly Frisbee match.

Akshay continues to exemplify his unwavering commitment to social causes. The superstar can be seen Frisbee-ing around in a fun-filled session to promote understanding and awareness around a taboo topic of sexual awakening. OMG 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.

In a recent video shared by Sadhguru himself, Akshay is seen playing the flying disc in an open ground. Taking to Twitter, the spiritual yogi said, “Namaskaram @akshaykumar. Wonderful having you here at the Isha Yoga Center & learning about ‘Oh My God -2’. Educating young people on how to handle their bodily needs is most essential if we want to cultivate a society that is sensitive to the safety & dignity of its women. It is time our education system focuses on equipping our youth to handle their body, mind & emotions rather than being purely information oriented. -Sg #OMG2.”

Akshay replied to the tweet, stating, “Namaskaram @SadhguruJV. Was an absolute honor to visit the Isha Yoga Center. I had one of the best experiences ever. Thank you for watching OMG 2 and for your insightful, kind feedback. Means so much to me and my entire team that you liked and blessed our effort.”

OMG 2 is the sequel in spirit to Akshay Kumar’s 2012 film, OMG.

Sadhguru is the founder and head of the Isha Foundation, based in Coimbatore. The foundation, established in 1992, operates an ashram and yoga centre that carries out educational and spiritual activities. A writer and speaker, Sadhguru has authored over 30 books, including the New York Times bestsellers Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy.
