Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will be playing the title-roles in Pooja Entertainment’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Ali Abbas Zafar will direct the action entertainer.

For the first time ever, a film announcement has been shot at this extravagant production level with sleek visuals and a high octane action sequence. The announcement video of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has “Blockbuster” written all over it and has created massive buzz across all platforms, leaving fans enthralled.

The onscreen chemistry of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff is expected to set the screen on fire. Both will be seen together for the first time and this sensational pairing will arrive on Christmas 2023.

Ali Abbas Zafar, known for Gunday, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, is directing the film for producer Vashu Bhagnani, who has already worked with Akshay in BellBottom and is doing Operation Cinderella as well.  Says Vashu, “‘It’s a film very close to my heart, because in 1998, it brought together two legends Amitabh Bachchan- ji and Govinda and was directed by my favorite director David Dhawan-ji. It is heartening to see my ‘Chote Miyan’ Jackky (Bhagnani)  recreate that magic along with Ali Abbas Zafar, who has a brilliant vision for the film. I am so humbled to have Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff become our Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan for a new generation of audiences in 2023.”

This is Tiger’s second film with a male superstar after War with Hrithik Roshan. As for Akshay, he has worked with Tiger’s dad Jackie Shroff in Aan—Men At Work, Bhagam Bhag, Housefull 3 and Sooryavanshi.

The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar. This Pooja Entertainment production is set to release in five languages—Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
