Sainik School Tilaiya Alumni hold ‘Make Bihar Great Again’ seminar in Edison, N.J.

Sainik School Tilaiya Old Boys Association America (SANTOBA)  organized a seminar ‘Make Bihar Great Again’ on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Roosevelt Park in Edison, New Jersey.

SANTOBA alumnus is a network of old students of Sainik School Tilaiya which was established in 1963, and completes 60 years this year. The seminar was part of the diamond jubilee celebration of the school.

The seminar was attended by more than 60 community leaders and representatives from alumni organizations of Bihar and Jharkhand public schools and engineering colleges. Many participants also joined the seminar virtually from India.

Chief Guest Randhir Jaiswal, India’s Consul General in New York, congratulated the seminar organizers and participants. Applauding the good work done by organizations SANTOBA, NOBA, BIT and others, he asked the community to collaborate with alumni networks to create impactful presence in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Seminar participants made slide presentations on their topics, followed by questions and answers. SANTOBA representatives Anil Kumar Sharma, Sunit and Braj Kishore made a presentation on their organization’s social initiatives. Netahat Old Boys Association representative Jawahar, and Wheels Global Vice President Ratan Agarwal both made a presentation of work in the area of the girl child’s health in schools.

Participants included Vinay Singh From BIT, Sindari; Dr. Avinash Gupta, Sr. VP, FIA; Sanjeev Singh of BJANA and Ranjeet Singh of Bihar Foundation. Indian Army Veteran Shiv Singh made a presentation on his two organizations ‘Vanyaprashtha’ and ‘Santan Sanstha’. Professor Nikhil Verma, a Blockchain expert, made a presentation on the ‘AlgoBharat’ initiative and the Centre of Excellence that he is developing at Patna Engineering College. Other notable speakers included Gupta, Ravindra Mohan, and  Rajesh Jee.

The event was managed by SANTOBA members Rishikesh, Praveen Nischal, Rana, Sameer, and Krishna Kunal. The seminar ended with a dinner, and an affirmation to have more such events for progress and growth of the state of Bihar.
