Hicksville, NY – May 31, 2025 — Sai Mandir USA, the first Saibaba temple established in the United States by renowned oncologist and spiritual leader Dr. Dattatreyudu Nori, marked a historic milestone with a grand Silver Jubilee celebration. The event, held at Hicksville Middle School, attracted over 750 devotees from across the Tri-State area, underscoring the temple’s enduring spiritual and cultural impact on the community.

The evening began with light refreshments as devotees arrived to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The program unfolded with a blend of devotional music, classical performances, and inspirational messages, culminating in the serving of Mahaprasadam. The free-entry event also offered complimentary parking, enhancing accessibility and inclusivity for all attendees.

The celebration featured several distinguished guests. “Kala Ratna” Sri Parupalli Sriranganath, a senior musician from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), captivated the audience with his soul-stirring musical performance. Renowned playback singer Sunitha attended as the Guest of Honor, adding a touch of star presence to the festivities. Binaya S. Pradhan, Consul General of India in New York, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and offered words of appreciation and encouragement to the community.

Cultural highlights of the evening included a graceful youth dance performance by Maheswari, a compelling drama depicting the life and teachings of Saibaba presented by Ashok Chintakunta, and a beautifully rendered classical music segment by Sadhana Paranji. In addition, acclaimed local gurus and students delivered performances that reflected the depth and diversity of Indian spiritual and artistic traditions.

Community leaders and dignitaries in attendance praised Dr. Nori for his vision and commitment, acknowledging his 25 years of tireless service in nurturing Sai Mandir USA into a beacon of faith, compassion, and cultural unity.
