Priyanka Chopra brings old Hollywood glamour to Met Gala 2025 in polka dot Balmain suit

Fashion met nostalgia, romance, and haute couture as global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas walked the Met Gala 2025 blue carpet alongside husband and singer Nick Jonas, hand in hand, embodying glamour with a twist of dandy flair.

This marks the actress’s fifth appearance at the fashion industry’s biggest event, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Chopra turned heads in a body hugging, polka dot suit dress, a creation by Olivier Rousteing of Balmain.

The look brought back echoes of classic Hollywood, channeling sharp silhouettes and structured elegance – a stylish nod to the evening’s theme centered around Black fashion  identity and the historical exploration of the Black dandy.

Her ensemble was accented with jewelry from Bvlgari, the luxury Italian house for which Chopra serves as a global ambassador, joining the ranks of stars like Zendaya and Anne Hathaway.

Accompanying her was Nick Jonas, himself no stranger to the Met Gala carpet, walking side by side with his wife in a Bianca Sanders while frill blouse, at times helping to adjust her long train while walking up the steps on the blue carpet.

The couple first attended the Met Gala together in 2017.

In their interview with Vogue host Ego Nwodim, the two were asked how they interpreted the theme of the Met Gala – Superfine: Tailoring Black Style

Nick Jonas, enthused about his designer. “I was so excited to work alongside Bianca Sangers. She has just such a vision and has such a clear idea of what she is doing, the story she is telling. And of course, obviously, Priyanka tonight looking amazing in Balmain. The theme for us I think, is just about collaborating with excellent people who have a real sense of 360 view of what this theme and what it means and we are happy to be here.”

Priyanka gave her interpretation. “I really look forward to people’s interpretation of the theme. It’s so interesting. This year’s theme, I was so excited about, because of the excellence of it, the tailoring of it, the fact that, you know, to me, its an expression of what fashion has been. And there’s such a power to it. I was really excited to see. And also to meet old friends and colleagues who you don’t see because everyone’s lives are so busy.”
