The makers of NTR Jr’s next film, NTR 30, hosted a grand muhurat in Hyderabad on March 23.The event saw a turnout of filmmakers from across industries including S.S. Rajamouli, Prashanth Neel, Prakash Raj, Mani Rathnam, Meka Srikanth and Bhushan Kumar among others.

To make sure that fans get to be a part of this event, the makers live-streamed the ceremony via their YouTube channels. The film’s leading man, NTR Jr., made a stylish entry in a white shirt and blue jeans along with the leading lady, Jahnvi Kapoor, who was dressed in a green saree. She makes her Telugu debut with the film. Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli blessed the film by giving the first clap on stage.

NTR 30 is a high-octane action drama directed by Koratala Siva that is set in the forgotten coastal lands of India and will see the coming together of top technicians from the industry. Anirudh Ravichander is set to score music for this highly- anticipated film. The makers have also roped in DOP, R. Rathnavelu, art director Sabu Cyril and editor Sreekar Prasad for this actioner.  They were all present and the backdrop was a huge portrait of the lead actor’s iconic grandfather, N.T. Rama Rao, along with frames of deities.

The film is produced by Hari Krishna K. of NTR Arts and Sudhakar Mikkilineni of Yuvasudha Arts and will be releasing on April 5, 2024.

Director Koratala Siva’s last film, Acharya, featuring Chiranjeevi and NTR Jr.’s RRR co-star Ram Charan, had failed, but now, the writer-director is confident of delivering a blockbuster, which he terms his “career-best work.”

At the launch, as reported by “India Today”, Kortala said, “I am working with NTR Jr. for the second time after Janatha Garage. I am very fortunate to work with my brother again. Jahnvi is the female lead in this film. The film is set in the forgotten coastal lands of India. The men in these lands are closer to beasts than human beings. They don’t fear Gods or death. What do they fear? Let’s wait and see. It’s going to be a great emotional ride. I promise to my fans and everyone that this is going to be my best work ever.”
