The India Association of Long Island (IALI) will be holding its flagship event IndiaFest on September 23, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington, New York.
The first IndiaFest was held in 1990 and has attracted thousands of people over the years from places such as Montauk Point, Orient Point, Manhattan, New Jersey and Westchester.
At least three dozen vendors attend this event and the whole day is filled with live music, dance performances and booths.
The event will feature some political and social dignitaries too and a popular raffle, according to a press release.
IALI is a not-for-profit community organization who is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and undertakes many programs for youth, seniors, women and families throughout the year.
