Hundreds of seniors enjoy hilarious Gujarati drama in New Jersey

The Federation of Indo-American Seniors of North America, FISANA, in collaboration with Jayesh Mehta of Aum Events, hosted the highly entertaining and comedic drama “Patni Nachave Tene Kon Bachave” loosely translated to mean ‘when your wife makes you dance to her tune, who is going to come to your rescue.’

Held on March 23, 2025, the event was a resounding success, drawing a audience of more than 600 spectators, according to organizers, all of them kept in stitches throughout the play. The Bridgewater Balaji auditorium in New Jersey was packed.

“With its perfect blend of humor and engaging performances, the Drama kept the audience captivated from start to finish,” the press release said.

FISANA ‘s President Suresh Patel thanked all donors, supporters, and attendees for their participation and cooperation, saying they were the reason for the successful event.

In a Facebook post, FISANA said the Gujarati Comedy Play had won the hearts of friends and family with “non stop laughs, applause, and standing ovation,” at the end, and that the hall resounded with “non-stop laughter and pure entertainment.”
