Iselin, NJ | April 13, 2025 —  DulhanExpo Elite Edition returned with a bang to its most iconic venue, Delta Hotels by Marriott Woodbridge in Iselin, New Jersey, after a five-year hiatus. The event shattered all previous records with over 2,000 attendees, 80 vendors, and an unmatched buzz that rightfully earned it the new nickname: “The Stampede Edition.”

From 2012 to 2019, DulhanExpo Elite Editions were a staple at the then-called Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel, known for their curated vendor lineup, immersive booths, and extravagant showcases. After being displaced for five years due to COVID-19 scheduling conflicts and venue shortages, the Elite Edition made its triumphant comeback in 2025. The response from brides-to-be, vendors, and the South Asian community was overwhelming.

Over 150 bridal families and 250+ casual visitor groups packed the halls, while every inch of floor space was filled with 80 premium vendors across 45 diverse service categories. These included photographers, DJs, live entertainers, decorators, makeup artists, caterers, jewelry designers, fashion boutiques, and unique specialty services such as live event painters, fresh personalized coconuts, and gift-wrapping stations.

For the first time in 22 years, DulhanExpo debuted a new innovation: the “Grooms Lounge,” located in a heated outdoor tent. This bachelor-style experience featured a cigar rolling station, hookah tastings, live DJ and dhol, men’s fashion, a live barber, belly dancing, chair massages, and exotic vehicle showcases. While a few elements were missing, organizers promise a fully executed version at the October 2025 Expo.

Guests were pampered from the start with free admission and parking, goodie bags by Nazranaa, and complimentary food tastings from top-tier caterers including Bukhara Grill Caterers, Dimple’s Bombay Talk, TreeTop Hospitality, and Cuisine & Spice Links. Additional tasting stations included fresh coconuts by Island Coco Co, coffee by CupaCabana, cola by Aqsa Cola, and hookah by In the Clouds.

Giveaways exceeded $10,000 in value, featuring day-of coordination packages from Emerald Events and Forever Events USA, seating charts, pre-wedding shoots, and more. Organizers aim to double this figure to $20,000 at the October show, along with $100,000 worth of vendor coupons for every bride.

Entertainment was another highlight. Celebrity performer Raveed Gill, nephew of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, delivered a soulful Sufi closing act. The entertainment lineup included fashion shows by Aura by Bimal and Jewelry by Priyana, Bharatanatyam by Pooranee Thanjavur Ramesh, live violin serenades, aerial dance by Ring Entertainment, belly dancing by Dance Soul Entertainment, and more.

The event’s flawless execution was made possible by official partners such as Aisha Wedding Decor (stage), DJ Charm of Charm My Event (official DJ), Hemant Pandya of Friday Films (photography), Saroj Studios and Muznab Productions (videography), Baaz Bajwa (fashion choreography), and CR8 by Design and Masters of Beats at the Grooms Lounge. The dedicated Dulhan team included Maryam Khan, Milan Arya, Shagun Arya, Saiqua, Nelson, and Vanesa.

Media partners including Radio Zindagi, Gujarat Darpan, Asia Tribune, Weekly Probash, Preetnama, Desi Talk, News India Times, and NJWedding.com played a crucial role in the event’s success.

DulhanExpo, founded by Sumit Arya in 2003, has become the premier South Asian bridal exhibition in North America. From its humble beginnings at Cotillion (now The Royal Manor) in Garfield, NJ, it quickly grew to host six events annually, including the world’s largest Grand DulhanExpo at Garden State Expo Center. Brides have increasingly shown a preference for Elite Editions due to their intimacy, curated vendors, and luxurious hotel settings.

Looking ahead, the Fall 2025 calendar includes:

  • Elite Edition on October 5 at Delta Hotels by Marriott Woodbridge, NJ
  • North Jersey Edition on November 16 at Newark Airport Marriott, NJ
  • South Jersey Edition on December 14 at Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing, PA

2025 will also mark the launch of a new culinary experience: “The Chef Showcase,” a Grand South Asian Food Festival taking place on September 14 at Newark Airport Marriott under the new culinary banner ISARCA (International South Asian Restaurant and Catering Association).

Testimonials from DJs, vendors, media leaders, and bridal service providers all echoed the same sentiment—the DulhanExpo remains the most valuable and irreplaceable wedding planning event in the South Asian community.

As DJ Charm (Pritpal Singh) summed it up, “You did a fantastic job bringing the South Asian community together in such a vibrant and engaging way. It was truly a pleasure to be part of something so special.”
