Akshay Kumar shared the “making of” video of his high-tempo musical track, “Garda,” which is set against a circus backdrop December 21. The song is from his next release, Atrangi Re.

The video showcases the journey of shooting the song, which exudes an abundance of zing and energy and is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, who speaks about it. Kumar is wearing an embroidered sherwani and a magician’s black hat, while performing magic tricks. Sung by the Punjabi music icon Daler Mehndi, the song has lyrics by Irshad Kamil and is composed by A.R. Rahman.

Kumar is excited about the film’s atrangi (extraordinary) story, as he puts it. He has an extended cameo in the film written by Himanshu Sharma and produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, Aanand L. Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and his home banner, Cape of Good Films. It releases in Hindi and Tamil and is available to stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from December 24.
