The American India Public Affairs Committee in cooperation with other organizations held a seminar in Long Island, New York, Dec. 29 on Demonetization in India.
The speakers said that despite temporary hardships of people, the measure by the Indian government will ultimately help eliminate corruption and fight terror.
The organizer of the event was Jagdish Sewhani, president of AIPAC.
Others who attended the seminar included Narinder Kukar, Shashi Shah, president of Association of Indians In America, Dr. Ajay Lodha, president of American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, and Vijay Arya.
